Rated 5 out of 5 by Popsy from Elegant design I bought this during the Covid pandemic and waited months as I was not living at my apartment - when I finally could move back in it was a joy to use my new AEG cooktop and oven. They are simply the best I have ever and beyond my expectations. I love cooking and am glad I went the extra bit to have these superb appliances in my home.

Don't be lured by the AEG branding, it's made in Italy by a third party and stamped with AEG brand. Smeg / Miele feel more durable - whilst this is easy to clean the burners don't feel solid, the aluminum easily scratches, and the wok burner in Smeg / Miele equilavents ( which cost ~$500 more ) are more effective. Does the job though, and hasn't missed a beat, so still happy with the purchase, considering the price, and 5 year AEG warranty. Afterthought - don't buy if you have small children as the burner knobs are horizontal to the front of the unit and accessible by small curious hands !

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dipesh from Poor Design I bought this product last month, and as an engineer I found there is a design flaw. What I am finding is the burner plates if they are by any chance not aligned properly(While cleaning black pates might have moved) and if I try to ignite the burner, the GAS keep flowing other then burner area and because spark mechanism doesn't have any safety check of such plates misalignments, the spark try to inflate the flame around that GAS flowing path and it some times have small blast.. thankfully no major accident have happened but I would request AEG to fix this issue of the design. I can demonstrate as well.

That day has finally arrived and we couldn't be happier with both products. Our first meal was a stir fry cooked in a wok on the wok burner to perfection.
