Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful looking oven with great features Very happy with our purchase, it is still very new so have not utilised all of the functions and features yet. Best thing we did was attend the AEG cooking class at E&S to learn more about how to use the oven and some great tips. It is quick to heat up, love the telescopic shelves, looks beautiful, also seems to be slider wider on the inside than most 600mm ovens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AEG OVEN BPK 556320M I bought this oven a couple of months ago and I am so pleased with this oven - I feel it is the best oven I have ever had -cooks to perfection - it takes awhile to get use to the temperatures but I cooked a roast chicken with a probe - followed what they said in the directions and i never basted it once but the chicken came out brown all over and tasted devine - never had a chicken brown so well in an oven before - but I am a cook and I like good ovens - it does take awhile to get the temperatures had three goes at making a marshmallow pavlova but I had the oven on too low so it kept sticking - preheated the oven 200 degrees on conventional oven and turned it down to 130 celsius degrees and cooked a six egg pavlova for 2 - 1-1/2 hours and it was perfect but i must admit i have made hundreds of marshmallow pavlovas in my life time as well as sponges again I put the oven on 170 degrees fan bake second shelf from bottom and my sponge turned out perfect and so light in taste and rose so high but again I haven been cooking sponges since I was 12 years of age and i am 71 years of age now with a lot of experience - played around with my pizzas which I make the dough from fresh yeast and found the best oven is the pizza oven on the bottom 240 degrees heat the oven for half an hour and the pizza will cook in 8 minutes a big one oil the base of pizza tray and put semolina on bottom and they cook perfectly on the bottom shelf (must put pizza on bottom shelf different to what book says) - I can not say enough about how good this oven is - but for $2000 I am very happy with my oven as it cooks everything to perfection - you need to practise to get use to temperature first not sure how my fruit cake has gone need to practise before i know what temperature to cook the fruit cake on but I make a big fruit cake with heaps of fruit it for Xmas. I also cooked a beef roast with the probe again tasted sensational so juicy not dry but cooked the way I like them to taste. My scones turned out nice and light but I did cook with steam in my oven for the scones and they tasted sensational. Also i am a big bread maker and I cook ciabatta and ordinary bread I make with fresh yeast and again I cook all my bread on bottom shelf of oven on around 200-220 celsius degrees pizzas oven is the one I use for my bread making. I bought my oven from Harvey Norman at Maroochydore where the girls were so helpful and helped me make the right choice with my oven very happy to be able get such great advice when purchasing a new oven. The reason I bought the German oven? I wanted my food to cook evenly and I am not sure why you can not buy an Australian oven that will do this - I have tried them all and they all fail - but the best thing about this oven is the temperature which keeps to perfection which allows you to be able to bake to perfection.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not beown I brought this oven with high expectations but it does not brown any meat that I cook. I cooked turkey recently for 1.5 hours and yes it was cooked but looked completely uncooked due to its almost white colour.

I've loved learning how to use it (still am), love the quality of the components and the simplicity of design. The capacity is great and it is obvious that there has been so much development of the features and cooking capabilities.
