Rated 3 out of 5 by from User Manual not helpful - useless. Two in the household have read the User Manual many times and find it of little help. Tried the AEG website, but all it displayed was the same User Manual, so nothing was gained. One is on one's own and has to use trial and error. This product was "pushed" by the retailer, but it is not known why and is not worth the price paid. It may be an okay product, but will have to find out for oneself. RECOMMEND: 1 - have somebody critically examine the Manual who has never used the machine and see if they can follow it. 2 - have the Manual rewritten to make sense to a new user. 3 - discard the current Manual.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too many options that don’t work This dryer is great in that it truly does not let out any steam but there are so many options and it is difficult to discern which ones to use when. So far the only way the clothes will actually dry is to choose extra dry. Some of the options have left my clothes damp. AEG it’s a dryer, why would I want damp clothes. Dissapointed so far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cloths Never Dry Very upsetting, the cloths never fully dry. You can't put cloths in the dry if they are only slightly damp the dryer won't dry them. Sheets get tangle all the time and the cloths take forever to dry. I woudnt recommend this dry at all.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's ok for clothes, terrible at sheets I have the matching washing machine that I adore, so I thought it get the dryer, same complaint like everyone else, it takes forever even on time save and sometimes the sensors sense it's dry when there are not! Every load I have to put it on extra dry and hit dry plus twice just so my clothes are actually dry. However My most biggest hate with it is drying Bed linen, because it turns in one direction they get tangled up into a ball and won't Dry. Dryers I have used in the past will Alternate the direction it turns throughout the cycle to prevent this. honestly I really do regret buying this dryer I expected more especially been AEG and since how amazing my washer is. even if the heat pump dryers generally take longer (which would have been nice for the sales rep to tell me) I would have expected the sensors to actually know when clothes are dry for the drum to alternate so sheets etc don't become a big ball. Time dry is just a waste of time, I just use it when the dryer senses stuff is dry and it's not completely. Like I said I regret buying it so badly. It's really sad I spent so much money on a product that I hate so much. It now makes me re think that brand I want to use when I renovate my kitchen. On a brighter note the 9 series 9kg front loader is amazing. And the memory functions are great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So disappointing So disappointed. It takes forever to dry. Have been operating my new dryer for 3 weeks. I wash daily for my husband and I and even the smallest load (e.g.1 cotton shirt, 1cotton t-shirt, 2 prs undies, 2 prs socks, hand towel, tea towel) will only dry by setting "time dry" for the max 2hrs and having re-spun the washing in the matching washer at 1600 rpm before loading it in. The only redeeming feature its its efficient lint filter which traps heaps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soft - warm and mould free! Totally different to my old ( normal?) dryer. Does a ace job but clothes came out differently had to try afew features to sort out my lauradry suitability , see what dried best. It does sometimes make a high pitch sound. Not sure if that's right. But apart from that it's awesome and my husband is a keen electricity bill watcher so waiting on seeing next few bills/ compare The heat pump thingie to normal bill in a month or two. We linked up the hose to the drain and that works well - we re too lazy to empty the water catchment thingie. Double filters are nice and catch lots of bits - easy to clean out and loving no wet heat in that end of the house . Love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from well made and very economical we have only had our dryer for a few weeks but so far I am very happy with it. I use it everday, it is very quiet and gentle. The only down side so far is that it can be a little slow .
