Rated 5 out of 5 by LPJR from All Good We have had the washer/dryer 6 weeks now. Our old washing was a 10+old budget machine that sounded like a freight train in the last years. So I think any new washing machine would have impressed, but we decided to pay a little more and go for a quality washer dryer. From the unboxing it had that feel of a quality build. We liked the design, the silver trim is a nice touch. Not over the top like some designs. We have been impressed with all the washing cycles used so far. Clothing coming out in much better condition than our old machine. Wool cycle works very well. I like the feature that weighs your clothing and then tells you how much detergent to put in. It is soo quiet compared to the old machine. At first we kept checking it was on. Noise picks up on the spin as you would expect but still not that loud for the 1200 spin. The cotton 1600 spin is a little noisier but overall very impressed with the sound levels. We have never had a washer dryer before. We chose this for the washing and drying of technical clothing. We have washed down jackets and water proof coats and this has impressed the most. The down Jacket kept its fluffyness and came out dry. We are still playing around with the quick cycles, there could be improvements here but overall very impressed. Last test will be reliability. Unable to comment on that yet but hoping for the best.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Marps from Slow You need to give yourself plenty of time to use this machine - obviously designed by a man who never does the family wash. No half load feature for a high temperature wash. The minimum drying time appears to be 52 minutes - far too long if you just want to soften an item. Must admit l am disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mouse from One machine wash and dry I have had old teeshirts that were stained now come up clean, my laundry is small so with this front loader sitting under the bench I have more bench space and it washes and dries, steams clothes to refresh I can put delicates in and it is gentle, there is a low crease function to make ironing easier. Too many options to talk about.

Auto dryer works perfectly for me and is just what I wanted. Build quality seems very good & as my last AEG did over 15 years without a murmur I am hopeful this will too. Time will tell.
