Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Love our new AEG washing machine. First time purchasing a front loader too. So quiet, great features and very easy to use. Clothes are washed better and spun well which reduces drying time significantly. A huge upgrade from our previous washer. Will be looking at the dryer in the near future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of Money I bought this a month ago and wish there hadn’t . I wanted a top loader so that I didn’t have to bend down all the time to drag washing in and out, especially heavy washing. The salesperson talked me into an AEG front loader telling me he had one and how efficient it would be. He failed to tell me how much mould would grow on the rubber seal within the first month and that I would be dragging my clean washing over it every day. And it is very awkward putting washing in and out at such a low level to the floor. Also the cycles are so long the sun has almost set before u can get the washing out on the line, so I only ever use the shorter setting. The spin dryer cycle does not like a mix of fabric so the washing is still wet at the end of a washing cycle. The AEG staff I spoke to recommended using lemon juice and bi- carb to clean the mould but this had no effect on it. I would not recommend a front loader and I’m sorry I’m stuck with it for the next 10 years or so making my clean washing mouldy when I take it out and breaking my back to get the washing out .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very energy efficient I bought the washer/dryer set, about 4 months ago - and waited to do my review as I worked out issues for proper use. I discovered that I only need to use 1 T of soap (about half of the level shown as minimum) and everything gets cleaned nicely. I realized that if there is too much soap during the rinse - it is because my old machines did not remove the soap, and it is residue. I am on solar power, and I can monitor the power consumption while these both operate - and I am convinced they are very very energy efficient, and I am no longer hanging clothes on the line. It is important that you take the time to read what each function does, and you will have less problems.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mould Trap I’ve had my washing machine for 6 months and everything gets covered in mould now. I wasn’t aware you had to leave the door ajar after use, I wasn’t aware you had to do a water wash at 90 degrees with Epsom salts every 4 weeks, I wasn’t aware you had to wipe out the rubber with lemon and bicarb every week... this was what I was told by AEG when I called and asked why my clothes were being covered in mould!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from AEG washer and dryer Bought these machines 2 months ago and it's too early to say much about it. Like any new machine, it works fine. We paid almost $2000 extra compared to other standard household brands for its brand, quality, and customer service but now we are hoping that we don't run into problems with the machines as we have had to lower our expectations for customer service. The machines were delivered late with the delivery deferred two times. We didn't get the impression that customer service was a priority. Then we were assured to receive complimentary washing powder which I think will no longer arrive.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Please re-think if you are guided by energy rating Energy usage is not as good as it is advertised. This is nearly 3 times the one that is advertised. The literature and the label on the machine says 214 KWH per year for warm wash if we use the machine 7 times per week (Average 0.5863 KWH per wash). However, I have tested strictly following the instructions and my usage always is in the range of 1.5-1.70 KWH. The same must be true foe water. However, I have not yet tested for water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Machine I bought this machine and I am so glad I did. Not only does it wash superbly. The dryness of the clothes is amazing. I bought the machine because of many wash options. It is easy to use and the steam function is great.
